Disney Imagination Campus understands the massive importance and fantastic power that communication holds. Not just for Disney, but in life. Through the Arts & Humanities curriculum, the aim is to help students understand this power, so they’ll learn how to use it to their favor. By teaching the art of storytelling and all that goes into the storytelling process, Disney inspires students to become more thoughtful and empathetic adults.
WORKSHOPS
Students will see how Disney storytelling has evolved from the early days of the company to the present through an exploration of advancements in science, technology and the arts. They will also learn how these advancements help to inspire a diversity of thinking and creativity that leads to innovation in the lands, areas and attractions in Disney theme parks.
THEME PARK DESIGN
From visual design elements to practical considerations like Guest flow and maintenance, students will learn the concepts, philosophy and tools necessary to design a working theme park.
VISUAL ART OF DISNEY PARKS
Create detailed, two-dimensional recreations of Disney theme park landmarks in this drawing class for students, pairing principles of visual design with Disney storytelling.
IMMERSIVE STORYTELLING
In this workshop, students will get an inside look at how Disney Imagineers create immersive environments that support the living stories of our theme parks.
